Finally 666 views
I'm so glad to finally see that 666 people have viewed my profile. I wish I was a little more savy with code so I could fix it there in perpetude, but never the less, it has happened. In dark of this joyous occasion I will rant a little on signs and meanings and such bullshit.
It's been my exprience that giving power to symbols is almost as bad as giving power to people. It corrupts!!!... Mostly because people put the meaning and belief behind the symbol. It's almost impossible to dismiss symbology only because it is so ingrained in the human psyche. Sort of like religion, which uses ritual and symbology to codify the brain into a group think scenario. The military would call it brainwashing, the media would call it branding. I call it being a sheep.
I've seen the re-branding of a product like I've seen so many conversions to another religion. Replacing one belief for another. Most likely changing the purpose for the belief. If you create need for a product it can be easily sold...like WTF is restless leg syndrome anyways...it means your a fidgety motherfucker who probably needs to chill out and worry less. Society creates need all the time and people lemmingize themselves. America is famous for it. The whole economy derives from a consumerist base. No one in america NEEDS the excess they buy, but a need to buy has been created and it drives everything from working to getting laid.
Fuck I mean status is a symbol, and it is a bitch of a power trip. Like I said I wish I knew code and from the outset of this blog cranked up my views to 666. Should it matter that it took so long....no....does it...yes. I'm the motherfucking devil yo...abracadabra! Even I am a slave to my own ego. I know that my content is lacking and that is why my views are lacking. It's cool, I'm out living it up cause this rotting flesh that I wear has an expiration tag dated for the unknown.
